KartellMuseo is the interactive guide that takes visitor to discover the Kartell Museum, where the history of the design firm world-famous for inventing “plastic culture” is narrated.
Thanks to the iBeacons technology, the App guides users across the Museum, allowing them to visualize details and curiosities about the objects on exhibition and enriching the visit experience through multimedia contents.
The App recognizes automatically the object to which the mobile device is approaching, visualizes its description accompanied by photos or videos and locates it on an interactive map. Moreover, KartellMuseo is able to guide users from their position towards the selected objects with a higher degree of precision compared to GPS, proposing a set of shorter or complete visit paths. A search engine allows users to identify specific objects according to the year of production and the designer.
KartellMuseo remains active even after the visit: extra contents on each object will always be available also outside of the Museum and visitors can stay informed about the latest activities and events.
